The collection was catalogued by his friend and former co-editor of Le Japon Artistique S. Bing. It comprises sculpture, masks, lacquer-work, ceramics, porcelain, metal-work, netsukés, textiles, paintings; the second catalogue is solely devoted to illustrated books and Japanese engravings."
