Duaci ( Douai ), Vidua B. Belleri, 1698, format small in-8°, (16 cm, ) , (40) nn pp + 274 pp. Bound in contemporary black coloured leather., binding with traces of use and damaged corners and top /end of spine. Endpapers unglued (loose). No provenance markings. Posthumously published main work of the Jesuit author Jean Baptiste Taverne (Lille 1622 - Douai 1686). Very rare, unfortunately only first part of three.
