Bound in 19th century half leather, boards covered with marbled paper. Spine with some use, interior with sparse foxing spots. Still a good copy. Rare description of a primed architectural project designed by the Flemish architect Tieleman ( Tylman - Tilman ) Franciscus Suys ( Oostende 1783 - Brugge 1861) for the construction of an art academy. He was chief architect at the court of king Willem I during his reign over the United Netherlands (1815-1830) and participated at important neoclassical transformations in Brussels (Egmont Palace, Royal Palace, Warande park, Coudenberg Church, Botanical Gardens...). During his stay in Rome he made a description with drawings of the Palazzo Massimi in Rome.
