Jakob Heinrich Meister (1744 - Zürich 1826). Swiss-French theologian , author and journalist who resided for long periods in Paris. He had extended personal contacts with Rousseau and Voltaire. Some of his works were burned because of its ''deist' views. He was for many years the secretary of Grimm. Very rare publication of this Swiss-French author.‎
