Esaun cum quadringentis viris frati suo Jacob........Gen(esis) XXXII & XXXIII (original 16th century engraving).
Antwerpen. s.d. (end 16th c.). Engraving size 200 x 253 mm ( portrait ), paper size 370 x 270 mm. The engraving represents a scene from the bible: reconciliation between Esau und Jacob. The engraving has a double signature in the plate : Martin de Vos inven. (M. de Vos - Antwerpen 1532 -1603). Sadeler execud. Printed on thick unwatermarked paper. Some slight marginal dustsoiling and two small marginal brown spots, but finely preserved. The new Hollstein. Maarten de Vos v. 44 pp. 53-55 (199 - 209) - belongs to a series of 11 engravings.
