Antwerpen. s.d. (end 16th c.). Engraving size 200 x 263 mm ( portrait ), paper size 370 x 270 mm. The engraving represents a scene from the bible: Abraham's sacrifice. The engraving has a double signature in the plate : M. de Vos inven. (M. de Vos - Antwerpen 1532 -1603). Johan W. fecit (Johannes Wierix , Antwerpen 1549 - Brussel 1620). Printed on thick unwatermarked paper. Some slight marginal dustsoiling , but finely preserved. (See Mauquoy-Hendrickix 1979, Les estampes de Wierix , 59 )..
