‎Henoch autem vixit sexaginta quinque annis et genuit Mathusalam........ (original 16th century engraving).‎

‎" Antwerpen. s.d. (ca. 1582-1583). Engraving size 208 x 260 mm ( portrait ), paper size 370 x 270 mm. The engraving represents a scene from the bible: the ascension of Enoch; at centre, Enoch levitating among clouds....his offspring below watching him in amazement. The engraving has a triple signature in the plate : M. de Vos inven. (M. de Vos - Antwerpen 1532 -1603). Jeron W. fecit (Hieronymus Wierix , Antwerpen 1553 - 1619); and another ''Sadleri excud. Antverpiae''. Printed on thick unwatermarked paper. Some marginal dustsoiling and one small marginal stain , but finely preserved. (See Mauquoy-Hendrickix 1979, Les estampes de Wierix (62).."‎
