Wrapper with slight traces of use (has been studied). Rare complete technical manual on the Avon 200 jet engine. This completely different follow-up jet engine was the succesor of the Avon 100 which was the first commercial jet engine in the Western World. It powered e.g. the ''De Haviland Comet'' which made the first trans-atlantic flight with a jet-liner. The Avon 200 engine is still in use as a highly effective industrial gas generator produced by the Siemens Company.
