‎ Tornaci Nerviorum ( Tournai - Belgique ) , E. Typis Caroli Casterman-Dieu, 1824, in-8°, xxvii pp + 471 pp + (1)nn pp (blank) + folding table + 9 full page plates (numbered 1-9, not bound in the correct order). Contemporary half leather, boards covered with marbled paper. Binding worn with severe damage to the leather spine, binding still technically ok, interior good. This is the second edition of Sprengel's reworked edition of Linnaeus' study. The first Sprengel edition was published in Halle (Germany) in 1809. This Tournai edition is dedicated by the publisher Casterman to Prof. J.G.S. Van Breda, professor of Natural History at the newly founded Ghendt University.
