"7. Collection of ca. 90 documents. [1] A collection of ca. 30 letters , receipts; settlements etc pertaining to the publication of Pierrard's book. First edition was from 1893, 2nd of 1904. Among the documents are several handwritten letters by Paul Buschmann adressed to the author. Some documents explain in detail the proceedings of the book publishing process with financial details. From 1904 onwards the letters are mostly typescripted on Buschmann letterhead paper. [2] A collection of ca. 60 documents on the death of the author's father - Jules Pierrard. He died in France in 1917. After the war his body was brought to Belgium (with official French documents of the transfer). Alfred received letters of comfort and condolences ( many small business cards) from many leading political figures in Belgium during World War I; e.g. George Helleputte, Julien Liebaert, a handwritten letter by P.W. Segers ( later manitou of the Christian party).... Alfred's wife dies in 1923. Here also letters of condolances.."
