‎ Loeven ( Leuven ) , Servaes Sassenus, ghesworen printer, s.d. ( 1550 ) , small in-4°, 19 x 13 cm, (8)nn pp, with woodcut coat of arms on the first page, no binding, loose as issued. Removed from a binding, resulting in small damage at the inner margin. Very strict rules on the wearing of cloths for the emperor's vassals - nobility and army officers. Brocade, damask cloth, all clothing with gold or silver thread is prohibited. When dukes, counts and knights ride to war it is however allowed to ornate their suits of armour, weapons and horses with these forbidden cloths. But pay attention : this exception does not apply for jousts and pageants. Text in Dutch.‎
