‎12. Amstelredam ( Amsterdam ) , Joannes van Ravensteyn , in' Schrijfboeck, 1663, in-12°, 131 mm. Engraved title lf. + Typographical title lf. + (12)nn pp + 606 pp + 16 full page copper engravings. Bound in contemporary full overlapping vellum. Smooth spine with manuscript title. Due to the thickness of the book the quires in the middle of the book are slightly bulging outside but the binding is still very firm. Still a fine good copy. The text is printed in two colums : French and Dutch. The Dutch text is printed in gothic type. The book was printed by Lowijs and Daniel Elzevier. This is the first edition, now very rare.
