Bound in contemporary mottled calf , triple fillets on both covers, marbled endpapers, marbled edges, binding with some use, upper joint partly split, interior good. (Still a good copy). This is an 18th c. reprint of a 1520 edition. The author , born at Souliers ( near Toulon) introduced in France the socalled macaronic petry. This was a mixture of words in French, Latin and Provençal. Most of the poetry here is in latin. PP 83-91 contain poetry by Rémy Belleau..
