Original printed wrapper with tipped on photo of Quenby Hall on the front wrapper. The item shows some wear, some sparse stains in the inside. Overall still in good condition. Loosely inserted are items pertaining to the estate and the history of the families : [1] An original engraving of Quenby Hall ( from the Gentleman's Magazine of Aug. 1814. [2] 2 original leaves torn out of a book '' Seats in Leicestershire - pp307 - 309. [3] A portrait of Joseph Foulkes Wricks - steel engraving, margins foxed. [4] A typescript letter, 6th jan. 1977, from the Squire de Lisle, Quenby Hall Hungarton to D. Ashby at Leicester, added to the letter are 9 folio pages with genealogical information, some corrected by hand, of the Ashby family. These leaves are photostat copies.[5] A colour publicity page, removed from probably ''The Times Magazine'' with publicity of wallpaper designs from Edith de Lisle's '' Quenby prints''. Fully illustrated auction sale catalogue of the Quenby estate at Hungarton. Good copy of an auction sale catalogue of one of the finest Jacobean houses in England. Well illustrated."
