Entirely printed in red & black. Bound in full contemporary calf. With two copper clasps in working order. Both outer joints split but still holding, first endpaper renewed, inside clean.,Still a nice specimen of a liturgical book published by the Antwerp Plantin Press. Printed according the highest typographical standard. For a long period in the 17th-18th c. the Plantin Press had the monopoly in the Iberian penisula and in South-America for al the liturgical publications of the Roman Catholic Church.

Binding: Bound in full brown morocco, Both covers completely covered with a large armorial supra-libro; arms of a bishop (a crowned eagle sits above a lion which rests on three colums - unidentified). all edges gilt. Richly decorated raised spine . Binding very well preserved."
