Publisher's cloth with gilt lettering on front cover and spine. Notwithstanding the fact that most pages have some slight foxing spots still a good/fine copy in the fine original binding. Describes the ruins in the provinces of Chiapas , Yucatan , Tabasco , Oaxaca , Puebla. A second volume was planned and annouced but this did never materialise.
