‎5. Bruxelles, H. Remy, imprimeur du Roi, 1835, in-8°, 72 pp, sewn, orig. printed wrapper (wrapper a bit soiled and with small damage to the spine). Loosely inserted is a printed invitation by the the secretary of state De Theux to mr. Victor Bal , proprietor of a cotton printing plant at Vorst (near Brussels ) , to collect a silver medal which was awarded to him at the exhibition. Added a printed personel entry card tot the exhibition. Rare official extensive list of awards at one of the first industrial exhibitions on the newly formed kingdom of Belgium. These exhibitions which first were organised in France at the end of the 18th century greatly contributed to the growth of the industrial revolution. Belgium was one of the first countries to copy them. Fifteen years later they would lead to the first International Exhibition at London's Chrystal Palace (1851).‎
