Robert Dodsley ( 1703 - 1764) has been named as the author of '' The Economy of Human Life translated from an Indian Manuscript''. The translator Vastel ( Cherbourg 1746 - 1819) was a lawyer who played a role during the French Revolution in his native Cherbourg. He published several other works on law and natural history. This is a rare copy of the French translation published at Caen. OCLC list only 1 copy of this edition ( in the French National Library ).‎
