Binding with weak, partly cracked, outer joints, but with near a perfect interior, the coloured wrapper in fine condition. Fine copy of the original first edition of this cabaret song book.‎

‎1 vol. in-4 rel. demi-basane brune, dos lisse, couv. couleur conservée, paroles et musique, dessins noir et blanc, Au Menestrel - Henri Heugel, Paris, s.d. (1890), 115 pp. + 6 ff.‎

‎Etat satisfaisant (couverture illustrée détachée, reliure lég. frottée, très bon état par ailleurs). Le titre de cet ouvrage posthume, précédé d'une courte biographie de Mac-Nab, fait référence au Cabaret du Chat-Noir, de Montmartre, où Mac-Nab avait oeuvré. Il avait débuté son activité de chansonnier dans le Quartier Latin, en particulier autour de la place Saint-Michel.‎
