Complete with the three parts, lacks only one blank leaf . This copy bound differently compaired with USTC 66027. Bound in full mottled calf, binding worn with upper joint broken, some old leather restorations at top of spine, red speckled edges , first fly leaf partly loose, old waterstains throughout, especially at the upper part of the first 100 pages. Still a solid and acceptable copy. Nicolas Boyer , lawyer and university professor at Bourges became president of the Parliament of Bordeaux . In 1520-1529 he was the first to write and publish about customary law in France, notably those of his native region '' Le Berry''. The publication comprises the customary laws of Bourges, Orléans and Tours. This Frankfurt edition of 1575 is the second edition, also the first with extensive indices.
