(8) pp. Equally printed on high quality paper and uncut. Loosely inserted is an ex-dono note in the hand of Crapelet addressed to Monsieur Dupin ainé, député. Dated Paris ce 4 juin 1831. Bound in contemporary brown coloured boards. Boards dustsoiled and with some wear at extremities. Inside some sparse stains and dustsoiling, especially at the uneven outer margins. Early example of the rising interest in Western illustrated manuscripts , here illustrated with finely made facsimile lithographs.
