Manuscript title on spine. Title page a bit dusty, with a manuscript ex-libris (in ink ''Petrus Delmosé '' ) and an old small owner's stamp (unidentified). Still a nice copy. USTC 429598. Buchanan's paraphrase on all the Psalms and his religious drama '' Iephthes sive votum '' (pp 321-383) were first published by Christopher Plantin in 1566 in Antwerp ( Voet 843 ) . It was trice reprinted in Leiden by Plantin's son in law Raphelengius ( Van Ravelingen ). This 1595 edition is rather rare. USTC lists only 5 copies..
