Paris, à la librairie de Raynal ( printed in Nantes by Mellinet-Malassis), 1825, in-12°, 16,5 x 9,5 cm, (6) nn pp (with a lithograph portrait of Alexandre prince de Hohenlohe) + 250 pp, nicely bound in contemporary full brown roan, gilt decoration on smooth spine, triple gilt fillet on both covers, edges painted blue. Second enlarged French translation of the miraculous healings performed by the German prince Alexander zu Hohenlohe-Waldenburg-Schillingsfürst. He became a catholic priest and joined the priesthood order of the Knights of Malta (Johanniter ) . His healings caused quite a stir in Germany but in the post-enlightenment period civil - and church officials (notably Pope Pius VII) forbade him at last to act in public any longer. He fled to Vienna. This second French edition is very rare.
