Some slight foxing, especially at the first pages. Text in French. Livre en français. Published in 200 copies. First publication of the '' Société des Bibliophiles de Belgique ''. Interesting rare book. This copy was used to prepare a second (?) edition of the letters. Most of the printed letters here have extensive corrections and marginal notes. It seems as if a methodical hand collated this printed text with the originals to weed out the many transcription mistakes (never less than 20 per page).‎
