Binding slightly soiled, vellum spine with a transverse tear and some small loss of vellum, first fly leaf with a small loss of paper, first 100 pp with a small marginal clear waterstain, notwithstanding these defects still a good copy. First edition of the collected works of cardinal Guido Bentivoglio ( 1579 - 1644 ) . He served as papal nuncio to Flanders and afterwards to France.
