London, printed for Priestly and Weale, High Street Bloomsbury..., 1833, small in-folio, 32 x 25 cm, 7 pp (including title) + 12 leaves (title Design N°1...12) + 48 plates (12 lithographs by Allom and Harding printed by Hullmandel, and 36 engravings), complete. Bound in contemporary half leather, large title label with gilt lettering on front cover, gilt title on smooth spine. The lithographical plates with some marginal staining, the engraved plates with some foxing, last pages with a waterstain in the lower margin. In all still an acceptable copy of the original 1833 edition. See J. Archer ; Literature of British Domestic Architecture item 292.1. This is the first edition. Robinson here offers 12 designs, each illustrated with 4 views and/or groundfloors in three styles; ''Timber fronted'', ''Elisabethan'' and Castellated''."
