18. Sample book of Henry Clark of Nottingham, in-folio, 43 x 28 cm, 72 pp, bound in quarter calf, with cloth covers, front cover with large gilt name of Henry Clark, spine renewed. The album contains hundreds of samples of lace, in white, black, coloured and some beaded. Unfortunately some pages show the loss of some samples but on the whole this an extremely interesting collection which we surely can date in the 19th century but no date is given. We have not been able to trace Henry Clark.
