Amsterdam, Nicolaes Visscher, s.d. (ca. 1650 , after 1638), in-folio, 363 x 220 mm , 101 copper engraved plates (title and 100 numbered plates), bound in contemporary vellum. Vellum soiled and stained, interior fine. Copy printed on large paper (372 x 224 mm) . The last plate, numbered 100, is mounted. Fine copy of the first Dutch edition of the famous Perrier collection of Roman classical sculpture. Perrier's work appeared in Rome for the first time in 1638 and was many times reprinted until the 18th century. It served as an example and a course for draughtsmen.
