‎" London, published by William Miller, printed by James Moyes, 1807, elephant in-folio, 56 x 41,5 cm (22 x 16.1/3 inches) , (10)nn pp + (1)(index) + (1)(bl) + (10)nn pp + (1)(index) + (1)(bl) + 52 full page engravings each preceded by a text leaf with explanation on the painting represented by the engraving. Bound in full red Russian leather, both covers with intricate gilt and blind large floral fillets, coat of arms supra libro with the device '' Sub tegmine fagi '', raised gilt spine with the title and the remark ; '' PROOFS '', all edges gilt. Binding with some minor scratches and signs of wear, interior fine allthough a few text leaves and plates show minor foxing but allmost never affecting the picture. Fine large paper copy in a well preserved impressive binding .."‎
