‎" Hagae Comitum ( den Haag, 's Gravenhage ), apud Nicolaum van Daalen a.o., 1765, in-4° 2 parts in one volume, 265 x 205 mm, frontispiece portrait + xi pp + (1)(contents of part I) + portrait of Koster + 260 pp ; (Part II) viii pp + 312 pp + 10 engraved facsimile plates (numbered i-vi, vi*, vii-ix). Complete. Bound in somewhat later half vellum with marbled boards. Binding slightly dustsoiled, frontispiece portrait a bit stained in the margin, but still a fine copy. See Bigmore & Wymann II p. 32. The author still upheld the theory that Laurenszoon Koster was the inventor of printing with mobile metal types. The work is nevertheless esteemed because of its fine illustrations and impeccable Latin descriptions.
