2. High Wycombe, Wycombe Abbey School, s.d. (ca. 1950 ?), small oblong in-8° photoalbum, 14 x 19 cm, with 25 original photographs (picture size 120 x 168 mm), kept in a publisher's ringbinding with black cloth covers, gilt coat of arms on front cover, the photographs are perforated in the blank margin to fit in the ringbinding. The pictures illustrate the buildings, interiors, garden etc of this famous independent girls boarding school situated in High Wycombe (Buckinghamshire). The fine building is the most important still existing work of James Wyatt, who created the gothic ecclesiastical style. His main work, Fonthill Abbey, is now demolished.
