‎ Nürnberg, 1785, in der Adam Wolfgang Winterschmidtischen Kunsthandlung, in-4°, (4) + 203 pp + (5)(Register) + (4)(Verzeichnis) + 50 handcolored engraved plates, contemporary full mottled calf, egyptian gilt fillet on both covers, raised gilt back, marbled endpapers, very slight foxing spots at some pages but an exceptionally fine copy in a very well preserved contemporary binding. Dru Drury (1725 - 1804), president of the London Society of Entomologists, published his Illustrations of Natural History from 1770 onwards. A second edition in three volumes was published in 1837. This is the first German edition.‎
