Handwritten dedication ""Au Régiment d'artillerie de la Garde Impériale"", small ex-library stamp in upper left corner of title and signature. The margin of the last six plates have been restored. The last three plates have some loss of information (not very important, only marginal). The book earned a prize from the imperial Ministry of War. It contains mathematical formulas as well as theories, strategies, and tests in the field."
