Bound in contemporary black half leather, marbled endpapers. Decorated spine. Binding with some wear, interior with a few foxing spots. On the whole still a good/fine copy. Very early example of photograph bookillustrations. (Photography, photographic illustration, Normandy, tombstone). Book in French, livre en français..
