"15. S.l.s.d. (before 1781), in-4°, 26 pp of which 25 with engraved music (numbered 2-26), title consists of a contemporary collage of engraved cutout baroque ornaments with a manuscript title and a Schwedish text; ''Dygden Sar sin Glants medsig och the som henne hijsa.. Liff ett Slagsmaskar Sma, Plär mitr Natten Lijsa.'', contemporary half leather (rubbed). Rare 18th century edition, copy of the Swedish composer Pehr Frigel with his name followed with the inscription 1781 on the title page. The printed latin text (attributed to Jacapone da Todi) has a manuscript interlinear translation in Swedish and some pencil annotations. One is tempted to attribute this translation to Frigel. Pehr Frigel (Kalmar1750 - Stockholm 1842) became in 1795 secretary of the Academy of Music in Stockholm. No Plate-number. There exist several 18th century editions of 26 pp of the Stabat Mater (Schnapper pp.771) e.g. Walsh, London (1749), Wright, London (ca. 1790) but they have apparently all a printer's name."
