.: Paris, Lethielleux, Tournai, Casterman, 1859, in-8°, 26,5 x 17,5 cm, 60 pp with steel engraved frontispiece and 18 fullpage steel engravings (complete but numbered 1.3-20), contemporary half red morocco, all edges gilt, double gilt fillet on both boards.Curious 19th century emblembook. The illustrations all relate to the symbol of the heart. Although the numbering of the plates is not correct the book is complete, as can clearly be derived from the accompanying texts. Ex-libris Ed Ipers.
