The father is known as the sculptor of ''Manneke Pis'' in Brussels. His son François made a sculptor's carreer in Italy. His other son, also named Hieronymus and also a sculptor, was convicted of pederasty and burned alive in Gent. (Sentence of 28 September 1654).
