In the book of poems, The Solitude Doll, as Sergey Gorodetsky put it, the poet struggles with the symbolism school that created it - and overcomes it. V.V. Borodaevsky joined the circle of St. Petersburg poets, often visited the famous Ivanov Tower, where he met Anna Akhmatova, Nikolai Gumilyov, Andrei Bely, Fyodor Sologub, Alexander Blok and other poets.
