The publisher of the book which was published immediately after the 1905 revolution was M.M. Zenzinov son of one of the outstanding researchers of Siberian history M.A. Zenzinov who repeatedly met with the exiled Decembrist brothers Bestuzhev D.I. Zavalishin and I.I. Gorbachevsky. The original portraits of members of the secret society reproduced in the publication belong to the paints of Decembrist Nikolai Alexandrovich Bestuzhev some of which were taken from the private collections of M.I.
