Leningrad Publishing house of Artists of the RSFSR 1976 Un fabuleux portfolio de l'uvre de ce peintre russe. De grand format (55cm x 43cm), le portfolio est en tissu crème avec un paysage reproduit et la signature en fac-similé de l'artiste sur la couverture. Le portfolio est en bon état, mais présente quelques marques sur les couvertures, en particulier sur le panneau arrière. Il a cependant fait son travail, car à l'intérieur se trouve une introduction de 4 pages avec des détails sur les images (en texte russe) et ensuite 19 uvres magnifiquement reproduites par Ivanov, toutes sur des cartes de haute qualité. Celles-ci sont en excellent état. (la dernière n'ayant qu'un tout petit peu d'usure sur les bords). Les images sont de taille variable, mais les cartes mesurent chacune environ 54,5 x 42,5 cm. Dans l'ensemble, il s'agit d'un très bon exemple de cette rare présentation du travail d'Ivanov. Il n'y a actuellement aucun exemplaire en vente en ligne. Nous n'avons trouvé aucune trace de cette collection dans WorldCat.

A fabulous portfolio of this Russian painters work. Large format (55cm x 43cm) the portfolio is in cream cloth with a reproduced landscape and the artists facsimile signature to the front cover. The portfolio is in sound, strong condition, but does have some marking to the covers, particularly to the rear plain panel. It has done its work though, as inside is a 4 page introduction with details of the images (in Russian text) and then 19 beautifully reproduced works by Ivanov, all on high quality card. These are in excellent condition. (the last having a tiny touch of edgewear only). The images are of varying size, but the cards are each approx 54.5 x 42.5cm. Overall a very good example of this rare presentation of Ivanov's work. There are currently not copies for sale online. We can find no record of this collection on WorldCat. Alexander Ivanov (1806-1858) was a Russian Neo-Classical pao=inter. He lived and painted in Italy for 28 years, returning to Russia two months before his death from Cholera age 51. .
