‎Fossilium Catalogus: Animalia. Gastropoda extramarina tertiaria. I-XI (complete).‎

‎1923-1930 11 parts in 11. 3387 p., paperbound (original uniform printed covers).A huge work by one of the foremost early 20th century German malacologist, Wilhelm Wenz (1886-1945). This work lists every Tertiary (and many Quaternary) non-marine mollusc, that is: the original description and all subsequent references. The bibliography is enormous. Seldom found complete because it was published over a long period of time. The parts of this series are different from the parts of the whole work because more, unrelated parts of the Fossilium Catalogus were published in between. The right collation is: I= Pars 17; II = 18; III = 20; IV = 21; V = 22; VI = 23, VII = 32; VIII = 38; IX = 40; X = 43; XI = 46. In total the Fossilium Catalogue Animalia contained 138 parts (up to 2002). The exact publication dates of the 11 parts are on p. 3387. Added is a curious loose title page for parts 17-20, "pag. 1-884" but this does not match the actual publication as part 20 had a pagination up to 1068. With the small stamp of Herbert Ant on front covers and title-pages. Uncut. Rare.‎

‎Ad vivum delineata, et aqua forti aeri impressa. Studio et arte Nicolaj Berchem. s.d. (1650 ca.) In folio (mm. 490x335), mz. pelle ottocentesca con ang. (abras.). Album contenente 4 magnifiche suites di acqueforti secentesche aventi per tema pecore, capre (e alcuni cani da guardia) in ambiente campestre. Le suites sono state incise in rame su 10 tavole, qui applicate al recto di ciascun foglio dell'album. Ogni tav. (ca. mm. 450x300) porta 2 o 3 composizioni, per complessive 28 acqueforti (mm. 100x110, misurate alla battuta), di cui 4, che introducono le suites, hanno figure femminili o maschili, su cui campeggia il titolo "Animalia. Ad vivum delineata...".Autore di queste importanti incisioni il pittore e acquafortista olandese Claes Pietersz Van Haarlem detto Nicolas Berchem o Berghem o Berrighem (1620-1683). Cfr.
