Depuis maintenant plus de vingt ans les personnes handicapées dansent peignent sculptent jouent des instruments ou pratiquent le chant choral en établissements spécialisés ou en ateliers avec des éducateurs ou avec des artistes professionnels. La dimension thérapeutique de ces pratiques a été explorée par les médecins et les philosophes. Mais jamais le regard n'avait été porté sur les pratiques banalisées de ces personnes différentes qui à travers toute la France produisent un travail artistique et des oeuvres méconnus. Ce livre se veut une promenade au gré d'ateliers de festivals et de rencontres. Elle fera découvrir au lecteur des intervenants des amateurs et des artistes dont les pratiques sont productrices pour tous d'un lien social plus vivant et plus riche. L'apport des personnes handicapées dans ce domaine est donc essentiel. Biographie de l'auteur Gérard Bonnefon est entré dans le secteur social en devenant éducateur de jeunes enfants (en crèche) puis éducateur spécialisé (en IMPro) responsable d'un atelier expression. Il a été chargé de mission culturel temps libre à l'UNAPEI puis délégué national d'une association d'éducation populaire. Il a assuré la direction de l'école de travail social des CEMEA à Aubervilliers. Il est l'auteur de nombreux articles et d'ouvrages notamment Handicap et cinéma Penser l'éducation populaire et Bénévolat et demandeurs d'emploi (Chronique sociale). II poursuit ses recherches et prépare un ouvrage concernant les fondements de la formation à l'éducation spécialisée‎

‎Summary The goal of this book is to discuss the theoretical challenges posed by the study of social and political inequality of local societies in Western Europe during the Early Middle Ages. Traditional approaches have defined rural communities as passive bodies, poor and unstable in the framework of a self-sufficient economy. In the last few decades, social approaches both in medieval history and archaeology have neglected the opportunity to re-evaluate the role of peasantry and other subaltern groups, even where new written and material evidence has challenged traditional assumptions. Conversely, scholars focussing on elites and aristocracies have promoted powerful research agenda. As a consequence of the 2007-2008 recession, the social sciences began to be interested in social and economic inequality, opening up new avenues for a reassessment of social history. The early medieval period has been identified by numerous scholars as a key arena for the analysis of political complexity and social inequality in long-term perspective. The study of local societies has become one of the most fruitful areas for innovative research in medieval archaeology and history, using approaches related to micro-history.
