The four major categories include scenic silks, portrait silks, postcard mounts and bookmarkers. More than 1000 items are catalogued, of which 821 by the Steven Company. The definitive scholarly guide on silk pictures including those of other companies. Excellent reference.

Extensive catalogue of Victorian silk pictures ; book-markers by the company of Thomas Steven of Coventry, portraits, pictures of trains etc. . More than 1000 items are catalogued, of which 821 by the Steven Company. ADDED ; An original Stevengraph ; The present time (a train; locomotiv and three carriages). Catalogued as item 58 (plate 138) in a mount which resembles B5 (plate 18) obviously destined for the continent as it has three-lingual caption. Good copy allthough the brown paper mount shows some marginal watermarkings.."
