Reliure demi-cuir avec dos à quatre nerfs, titrage et ornements dorés sur le dos (épidermures et coiffes arasées : voir photos), plats cartonnées illustrés, grande tranche creusée, intérieur impeccable (sans annotations ni phrases/illustrations soulignées). Bel exemplaire de cette rare édition originale.

Library stamps to pasted-down front end-paper and verso of title-page. A few underlinings and marginal notes, otherwise clean. XVI,290 pp. + errata.
The copy belonged to the Swedish orientalist Axel Moberg and has his exlibris and signature to front endpapers.
