In-8 gr. oblungo (mm. 277x376), mezza pelle con angoli (lievi segni di umidità sul piatto posteriore), fregi ai piatti e titolo oro al piatto anteriore, dorso a cordoni con titoli oro, risguardi in carta francese, pp. IV,134, con 63 tavole fuori testo di cui: 19 sono bellissime fotoincisioni, 17 sono a colori e 27 in tinta, tutte protette da carta giapponese con didascalia. Importante edizione d'arte sull'opera di uno dei più grandi pittori italiani dell'Ottocento (1858-1899). Esemplare ben conservato.
