With four woodcuts by Kandinsky and 20 India Ink drawings. Around 1910, Kandinsky played a decisive role in the movement that emancipated paintng from realistic representation. He was the first to make the transition from the colored exaltation of a real landscape to a re-created vision in which the emphasis was put on the lines of force, the accents and the spots of color that translate the energy of creative gesture.
