, Ebeling Publishing Ltd. 1976, 1976 Hardcover, 136 pages, English, 320 x 250 mm, book in good condition, with illustrations in colour and b/w.
With four woodcuts by Kandinsky and 20 India Ink drawings. Around 1910, Kandinsky played a decisive role in the movement that emancipated paintng from realistic representation. He was the first to make the transition from the colored exaltation of a real landscape to a re-created vision in which the emphasis was put on the lines of force, the accents and the spots of color that translate the energy of creative gesture.
