Teichmann in Leipzig , 1622, in-4°, (6) nn pp + (2)(blank) + 548 pp + (2) pp (printer's mark), 19th century half cloth, with marbled boards, binding slightly worn, blue painted edges, some slight browning, title page dustsoiled and with a paper repair at the lower right hand corner (no loss of text), with hand-written exlibris on title page(J.B. Vogels). See Graesse Vol. VII pp.94. Extremely rare New Testament printed entirely in Greek. Variant edition with an illustrated colophon. Only one other copy known. (ULB Halle) VD17 3;672574E. The text was edited by Erasmus Schmidt (see ADB 32 , 27) and Zacharias Gerganos based on a version of Nikephoros of Athos and Anthistes Demetrios of Constantinopel. The ''Braunschweiger Bibelsammlung '' of 1754 remarks at pp 434 that few copies were left in Western Europe because most of them had been sent to the (orthodox) Greeks.."
