Dos carré, légèrement insolé, avec petite auréole au bas, qui se répercute légèrement sur le mors. Plats et intérieur frais, malgré deux minuscules taches sur la tranche extérieure, dont une qui bave un peu sur le bord d'une page. Préface inédite d'André Breton pour ce délirant roman surréaliste de Max Ernst, narré sous forme de collages, légendés. Très bel état général, malgré les défauts indiqués. Tirage unique à 1000 exemplaires numérotés ( n° 224 ). Rare nouvelle édition.
