‎Édition originale, un des 125 exemplaires num. sur pur fil avec une eau-forte originale d'Odilon Redon sur japon nacré. Elle est ornée d’un portrait photographique de l’artiste par H. Manuel. Odilon Redon justifie ainsi cet ouvrage dans ses premières pages : “J'ai fait un art selon moi. Je l'ai fait avec les yeux ouverts sur les merveilles du monde visible, et, quoi qu'on en ait pu dire, avec le souci constant d'obéir aux lois du naturel et de la vie. [...] Les notes que je formule ici aideront plus à la compréhension de cet art que tout ce que je pourrais dire de mes concepts et de ma technique. L'art participe aussi des événements de la vie. Ceci sera la seule excuse de parler uniquement de moi.” Bon état d’occasion ‎
