Paris Henri Floury 1923 petit in-folio en feuilles Paris, Henri Floury, 1923. 34 x 26 cm, 2 ff. bl. - suite de neuf héliogravures sur cuivre en noir - 2 ff. bl., en feuilles sous couverture verte rempliée, imprimée et illustrée, reprenant au premier plat, en réduction, le frontispice.
Deuxième et dernier tirage dans ce format de cette série composée par Odilon Redon pour une première édition illustrée des Fleurs du mal qui ne parut jamais. Le premier tirage, également en héliogravure (procédé Evely) et identique au nôtre mais à plus grandes marges et avec la lettre, fut l'oeuvre de l'éditeur belge Demain en 1890. Il fut limité à 43 exemplaires (sur les 50 prévus). Le même éditeur donna l'année suivante une version réduite au format in-8 à 100 exemplaires. Le tirage que nous proposons, au format initial, fut limité à 150 exemplaires, tous sur vélin du Marais, dont 100 destinés à accompagner les exemplaires de tête de la monographie de Mellerio sur Redon et 50 exemplaires hors commerce numérotés en chiffres romains. Celui-ci l'un des 100 numérotés en chiffres arabes, à la presse au dernier plat et à la mine de plomb sur chaque planche (n° 97). Superbes et délirantes compositions symbolistes, de toute rareté en grand format. Petites déchirures au dos de la chemise. (MELLERIO, 198-206 ; MONOD, 1082 ; CARTERET, IV, 64) Bon
